From the 5 till 12 August 2012, the annual choir project “Voices of Europe” will take place in Burgenland/Gradišće, Austria. This year, the “Hrvatski akademski club” (http://www.hrvatskicentar.at/deutsch/akademikerklub.htm) – the student organisation of the Burgenland Croats – are the hosts, together with the Youth of European Nationalities (www.yeni.org ).

“Voices of Europe” brings together young people from different European minorities, who are united in their enthusiasm for singing, music and in their love for their – often endangered – language and culture.

The result of one week spent together will be two concerts. In addition to daily rehearsals, the singers will also get in touch with the cultural diversity of the region of Burgenland. On the schedule are an exchange market, a panel discussion on minority issues, a visit to local wine restaurants and an excursion to Lake Neusiedl.
