Kashubian is a unique minority language, spoken only in the north of Poland. It belongs to the group of western slavic languages. A common estimate is that over 300,000 people in Poland are of the Kashubian ethnicity. The most extreme estimates are as low as 50,000 or as high as 500,000.
“Solidarność w różnorodności / Solidarity in Diversity” is an international youth seminar, organised by the Youth of European Nationalities and the Kashubian Student Association Pomorania, together with the Ukrainian minority in Poland. It took place from 9-14 October 2012 in Gdańsk.
